Odenton, MD (May 2, 2018) – The Heritage is the newest all age neighborhood to open within Two Rivers, and will offer Traditional Neighborhood Design, a unique opportunity for Anne Arundel County.
The Heritage will be the second all age neighborhood at Two Rivers. Traditional Neighborhood Design (TND) includes front porches, courtyards, some rear alley garage access, pocket parks, and community gathering areas. The neighborhood will be an elegant blend of single-family homes only; built by NVHomes, Michael Harris Homes, and Mitchell & Best. NVHomes has a model open for prospective home buyers to tour starting at $649,900. Floor plans and pricing are coming soon for Michael Harris Homes and Mitchell & Best, two new builders to the Anne Arundel County market who hope to open models by mid-summer. Twenty homes have been sold in The Cascades, the community’s first all age neighborhood, featuring Winchester Homes and Stanley Martin Homes.
Construction will begin soon on The Hamlet Club — an amenity center for the residents of the all age neighborhoods. This will feature a 10,000-square-foot clubhouse with indoor and outdoor sport and recreation including: an indoor gymnasium and sport court, fitness center, play rooms, meeting spaces, conference rooms, sand volleyball, tennis courts, tot lots, and a resort-style outdoor pool with 6-lanes for competition and swim team. The outdoor pool is scheduled to open next summer, with the clubhouse and indoor amenities following in 2020.
Development is also underway for Two River’s 108-acre Agricultural Park and Community Garden. It will initially include 40 raised and fenced garden beds residents can rent to grow their own vegetables, herbs, and flowers. The community recently began a cooking program, “Sundays at the Stove” utilizing the demonstration kitchen in the Village Clubhouse. The program brings guest chefs from the area for hands-on cooking classes so residents can learn to cook with the spices and vegetables they grew in their garden. The first two classes sold out immediately.
Two Rivers offers a unique blend of private neighborhoods exclusively for active adults, and single family homes for all ages. Each has exclusive amenities as well as shared features such as a dog park, miles of hiking and biking trails connecting to the Washington Baltimore & Annapolis (WB&A) trail system, and 100+ acre Environmental Park. Upon completion, Two Rivers will offer more than 2,000 homes with approximately 800 for Active Adults and 1,200 single-family homes for all-ages.
